I have lived in Oswego since 1976 and recall the days of the single firehouse downtown Oswego when it was an all-volunteer department and the whistle blew when there was an emergency to call the volunteers to duty. I graduated from Oswego High School in 1987 as my two daughters attended as well. I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE in 1991 with a degree in Business Management. My dad built our family business in 1984 of PMR, Inc. on Route 34 east of downtown Oswego that he started here in 1967. I am a second generation business owner of the business my dad started which is a sales and marketing firm for consumer product manufactures sold globally to major retailers and wholesale outlets. I was proudly part of the founding group of “vote yes to invest” committee to support the funding for our local schools. I was a proud supporter of the Veterans Serenity Park in downtown Oswego with the inspiration from my fellow OHS classmates of 1987 remembering those who served our country in our class and community. I was recently humbled to be selected to become a trustee board member of Aurora University. I am proud to be part of the “Friends of Oswego Fire” supporting the men and women who are first responders of our Oswego Fire Department as they are those who will respond to us all in times of crisis and need without hesitation. They deserve our continued support as a community to serve and benefit the well-being of us all. I hope you will join us in paying it forward to all those who serve our Oswego Fire District and community. I can be reached at 630/308-1791 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
My name is Anita Patel and my husband and 2 sons have been residents of Oswego for the past 23 years. For over 20 years, I have been managing the first hotel in Oswego. Over the years, the Oswego Fire Protection District has always been there for me. Whether it was for my family or for work purposes, they have helped out in more ways than one. I am part of this group to help make sure this level of service continues and they are able to serve this community in the best way possible.
My name is Lynn Cullick. I am currently employed as the Kendall County Chief Deputy Clerk and am a long-time Oswego resident. I remain involved in the community and am currently active with the Oswego Senior Center Board, Kendall County Board of Health, as well as several community advisory boards.
